About DR Varghese P
Dr. Varghese P, a distinguished general surgeon with an impressive almost 4 decades of experience in the field. He completed his postgraduate degree in March 1986 and began his career as an Assistant Surgeon in Kerala’s government services. In September 1987, he joined SQH as a medical officer in surgery and was promoted to specialist in March 2005.
For the past 19 years, Dr. Varghese P has demonstrated exceptional skill in performing surgeries independently and managing on-call duties. He also plays a crucial role in mentoring junior doctors, guiding them in laparoscopic and other surgical procedures. Since 2014, he has taken on third on-call duties alongside consultants and senior specialists, assisting in both case management and surgical interventions.
In addition to his surgical expertise, Dr. Varghese oversees the general surgical clinic, ensuring comprehensive pre- and post-operative care for patients. Dr. Varghese's extensive experience and dedication to patient care make him an invaluable asset to the medical community.
